It’s a Very Special charity auction
Make a bid: The Craigieburn house up for auction.A NEW four-bedroom house in Craigieburn will be auctioned for charity this Saturday.
Metricon Homes has partnered with Stockland developers to build the house and will donate all net proceeds to the Very Special Kids Piggy Bank Appeal.
Very Special Kids supports families caring for children with life-threatening illnesses, including cancer and muscular dystrophy.
The house, a ‘Delta 24’ design, has been built in the Highlands community.
VSK chief executive David Agnew says the auction proceeds will enable the charity to provide a year of support services to more than 20 families.
“Very Special Kids wouldn’t continue to exist without the generous corporate sponsorships, such as this from Metricon and Stockland.”
Ray White director and auctioneer Jerry Papaluca said:
“It’s been amazing to watch how many people have come together offering their support in building this Very Special home.
“We are confident that it will be well received in the broader community, not only for its quality and design but for the money it will raise towards Very Special Kids,” he said.
The auction is at Maloney Avenue, Highlands, at 1pm on Saturday.
